After golf it’s a short drive to the Ascension Cathedral Community Center where the real fun begins.
Cocktail Reception.
The cocktail reception features an open bar and delicious hors d’oeuvres. A mountain of fresh shrimp, fine cheeses from around the world and gourmet spreads are highlights. At the bar only premium spirits are poured along with ice cold beers and soft drinks. Its the perfect time to reflect on the days events and browse the silent auction items that surround you.
Silent Auction.
During the cocktail reception is the best time to view the items in our Silent Auction. Here you’ll find $20,000 worth of items to bid on including fine wine, sports memorabilia, art and other collectables. If you’re a bay area sports fan you’ll find signed photos of your favorite local players. The wine available at the Silent Auction is hard to find, highly allocated wines from Napa and Sonoma counties. Kosta Browne, Aubert and Rochioli are a few of the world class labels you can bid on.
Prime Rib Dinner.
The highlight of the entire event is the prime rib dinner! Seasoned and cooked to perfection, the chef will cut your prime rib as thick as you want– it’s at this point you’ll realize that this golf tournament is all about the food!
Live Auction.
The evening is capped off with our Live Auction that features world class trips and services that you can bid on. Some of the items we’ve recently offered include trips to Europe and golf excursions to the Monterey Peninsula. A portion of these items are tax deductible and represent a fantastic value.
