The cost for the event is $450 per person. Early Birdie Special before 7/15 is $400. Juniors $350 , No Early discount (40 years old and under).

A large portion of the cost is tax deductible.

What’s included in the admission price?

First off you get a $100 gift certificate to Kokarri Restaurant–one of the most awarded restaurant in the Bay Area. It’s a full day of activities starting with our famous lamb lunch and open bar. On the course you’ll find something at every hole. From Raiderettes to wine tasting, there’s lots to keep you busy on the golf course. Hit a hole-in-one for a brand new Jaguar or closest to the pin for a $200 gift certificate to Nordstrom.

After golf the incredible reception and prime rib dinner or only matched by the awesome selection of sport collectables and fine wines available at the silent auction. The event is capped off by the Live Auction which features world class trips and services.

Do I have to be a golfer to participate?

No. You can join us for the dinner and auction that follows the golf tournament. The dinner and auction takes place at the Ascension Cathedral Community Center at 6 pm. The cost is only $75.

How can I support the event without attending?

If you can’t make it out to the event, there are still many ways you can support us.

For almost 50 years the Bay Area business community has stepped up and supported our event. From tee and green signage to advertising in our Souvenir Program, our event is a great way to get your message out to many Bay Area business leaders who attend our annual event. Where does the money go?

Since 1968, the proceeds from this event have assisted the Cathedral in its expansion and maintenance. In addition, a large portion of the funds from the golf tournament go to supporting various outreach programs to the East Bay community.  Over the years, children and senior citizens in the community have benefited from the generosity of all who support our annual event.

Where is the golf course?

The Sequoyah Country Club is located at 4550 Heafey Rd, in the Oakland Hills. See the contact page for a map.

What is the dress code?

Sequoyah is a private club and a collared shirt is required at the course. Golf shorts are allowed.

How long is the event?

The event starts at 9:30 am at the golf course and end at the Ascension Cathedral around 8:30 pm.

When is the event?

The Ascension Cathedral Tournament is always the last Monday in August.
