The 58th Annual Ascension Cathedral Golf Tournament will take place at  Moraga Country Club on August 31st, 2026.

This year’s Ascension Cathedral Golf Tournament will take place at The Moraga Country Club in Moraga California. In previous years the tournament was held at Sequoyah Country Club in Oakland. Sequoyah is a planning a major restoration this year so the decision was made to move the event to Moraga Country Club for 2026.

This marks the 58th year of the Ascension Cathedral Tournament. Your generosity and commitment supports our cause and allows this unique tournament to be an annual highlight for golfers in the bay area.

Your day will be a memorable one filled with great golf, fabulous food and fellowship. The golf committee and the supporting cast of volunteers, representing several generations, remains dedicated to making this the golf event of the year.

The Ascension Golf Tournament has been a longtime supporter of local special projects and charities. A portion of this year’s tournament proceeds will be assisting two organizations: 1) Meals on Wheels of Alameda County, which serves senior citizens in need; and 2) CALICO Center (Child Abuse Listening, Interviewing, and Coordination Center Of Alameda County), a nonprofit children’s advocacy center.
